 VISITING THE MID-NORFOLK RAILWAY

All Aboard at the Mid-Norfolk Railway!

There's nothing like a departure by Steam, the sound of the Guards whistle, the hiss of the steam from the front of the train as it pulls away. Or the rumble and distinctive two tone horn as the Heritage Diesel locomotive starts it's new journey. Travel in style in our 1950s & 60s open carriages or in one of our private compartments for a journey through the Heart of Norfolk.

Or, join us on one of our Scenic railcar trains from the 1950s & 60s "first generation" railcars. On these you may be lucky enough to sit behind the driver and watch the line ahead!. We also operate our 1980s "Pacer" Railbus, with it's distinctive bounce offers an all round enjoyable train ride.

We run regular trains between Dereham and Wymondham Abbey throughout the year, you can find out more on our
Times & Fares page , see events coming soon or the timetable that is running on a particular day. Tickets will be available in advance to purchase online and other tickets will be offering on the day
