How You Can Help
Recycling

Printer Cartridges

To help raise money for the Mid-Norfolk Railway, we are operating a recycling scheme for empty inkjet printer cartridges. For each cartridge contributed, the Railway will receive a donation of up to £1 from EAH Recycling. Not only will you be helping to improve the environment, but you will also help us to extend the line to Hoe, North Elmham and, eventually, County School.

The following inkjet cartridges are acceptable for recycling (no re-manufactured cartridges please):

The cartridges need to be sent in a special protective envelope. These can be obtained from EAH Recycling by writing to Freepost NAT 16879, PO Box 575, Ipswich, IP8 4WR or phoning 01473 658161. They will need to know your name, address and postcode. Envelopes are available in packs of 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 or 100.

Mobile Phones

Following the success of the inkjet recycling scheme, the scheme has been expanded to recycle unused mobile phones to raise additional funds for the railway.

To donate your mobile, remove your sim card and place the phone in the freepost envelope (as used for the inkjet cartridges). The envelope will hold up to 3 handsets. Please do not, however, include mobile chargers.

On average, each working phone is worth around £6 for the Mid-Norfolk Railway.

Paper

We have a large skip in front of Dereham Station for your recyclable paper, including newspapers and magazines.
