Travelling by Car

From Norwich and the Broads:

As you come towards Dereham, there are two turnings to get into the town. Take the second of these, where you can see Tesco on your left. At the bottom of the slip road, take the third exit off the roundabout, which is signposted towards the town centre. Go over the level crossing and carry straight on over two sets of traffic lights. When you reach the mini-roundabout next to the petrol station, turn right into Station Road. Go down the road for 300 metres, and we are on the right, opposite the supermarket.

From Swaffham:

Just as the dual carriageway starts, there is a slip road, which you want to take. Turn right at the bottom, and then left at the traffic lights. Just before the petrol station is the right-hand turning into Station Road. We are on the right after 300 metres.

Parking:

Ample free parking is available on the station forecourt. There is also limited parking in the town centre.

Travelling by Bus

Bus number X1 runs every half hour on weekdays and Saturdays, and hourly on Sundays. It stops in Dereham market place, from which the railway station is a short walk. Leave the market place with the bank on your left, and head into the High Street. Turn left into Norwich Street after about 50m. At the traffic lights, turn right and Dereham Station is on the left. There is also a stop for buses operated by Konect right outside the station.
